I know little about this display or raspberry pi - but want to know if it would be useful to me.
I noticed in the general info that if I want to use the display as a computer monitor, to simply connect it via a HDMI cable. Yet when connecting it to a raspberry pi, there a bunch of code that needs to be used. Why can't you simply connect the display using HDMI to the raspberry pi just like from a computer?
