Photo showing normal vs sunlight readable display

Post by John Nicol »

I will try to add some more photos over the coming days showing the difference between a standard 5" display at 300 nits vs the makeplane 1100 nit high brightness display. I really am impressed by it and the photos don't do it justice. If others have pictures of their units please feel free to post here.

The unit on the left is a standard 5" waveshare touch display.

Here is another one. The sun was shining in the window onto the screens, but my cellphone does an auto adjustment to the brightness so seems to darken everything around the screen. One day I will figure out how to take photos.
