Hi Guys,
A slight change to the configuration for Raspberry Pi 4 from the documentation put in the screen box. The web page has been updated here:
https://makerplane.org/?page_id=2792
Raspberry pi 4B PWM Screen Brightness
In Raspberry PI 4B, you need to update the wiringPi GPIO library (Raspberry PI needs to connect to the Internet)
cd /tmp
wget https://project-downloads.drogon.net/wi ... latest.deb
sudo dpkg -i -B wiringpi-latest.deb
The backlight brightness can be controlled using the following commands on raspberry PI 4B:
gpio -g mode 18 pwm
gpio pwmc 4095
gpio -g pwm 18 X
The value of X should be between 0 and 1024, with 0 being the brightest and 1024 the darkest.
Note the change in value of gpio pwmc value to 4095

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 configuration update
I recently installed Raspberry Pi OS (64-bit) bullseye and found out, that gpio commands won't work.
The wiringpi only supports 32bit os.
I installed this https://github.com/guation/WiringPi-arm64 (you just need to enter lines 1. and 3. from the installation example)
Now the screen brightness commands work.

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 configuration update
Thanks for that!
I am making up a new image now with the new Raspberry Pi O/S to ship with the screens and will post an update when I have done it.

Re: Raspberry Pi 4 configuration update
Hello,
I had the same error message on my raspi 4B.
just received my new displays. I went trough all steps as said in the manual.
drivers, rotate 180 degrees, change the touch as well, BUT the touch is not working not working.
The rotation worked out, but there is not touch reaction on the screen.
Any ideas?
